Survey instructions (post zero)

Dear Future Respondent,

Thank you for your interest and your effort in helping with this anonymous survey. This survey is for a Transport Planning MSc. dissertation at the University of Leeds, Institute for Transport Studies. The survey is supported by the European Disability Forum as well. Please click on “More info” on the right side if you would like to know more about the author, or write an e-mail if anything isn’t clear after reading this post. Please read the following instructions carefully to make a valid contribution to the survey.
Who can answer the questions?
-       If you have travelled by air in the European Community as a disabled person or person with reduced mobility since 26th of July, 2008.
-       If you were taking care of, or accompanying a person described in the previous heading. In this case you are kindly asked to answer in the name and on behalf of the disabled/reduced mobility passenger. If you, as a carer have your own opinion, please clearly indicate that content.
-       If you haven’t travelled by air but you are disabled/reduced mobility, please get in touch with me through e-mail, I would like to hear from you as well! (E-mail: accesstoairtravel@gmail.com)
How does this work?
You will find a set of questions every second day (10 posts), but at the beginning we have to allow for everyone to join in. Each post is based around a certain topic (e.g.: planning your travel). You are kindly asked to reply to these questions by leaving a comment at each post. You can answer either in bullet points or in an essay format as well. You are welcome to share additional information about that certain topic, which may not be covered by the questions. So the questions are guidlines only. You can also answer to others previous comments by disagreeing or agreeing with them. Please argue in a polite manner and only with arguments. (Offensive or inappropriate comments will be deleted.)

It would be good to see a discussion about the issues in the comment section. However, if you don't have enough time to check back to the blog you can still answer by downloading the questions from HERE in .doc format or from HERE in .pdf format and e-mailing me the results. If you fear that you might forget to check back, write a reminder to yourself or you can bookmark the page or even subscribe to it (on the right hand side).

How to leave a comment?
Please select “Name/URL” from the drop-down list below the comment field. Please input your given name, age, and country of residence. So, for example I would be: Peter_23_Hungary.  These are only asked for statistical reasons. In your comment please try to be as specific as possible. You don’t need to write an exact date, but year, airline name, airport names, terminal numbers, and the exact nature of your disability (wheelchair user, elderly person, impairments, etc.) would be helpful. Once again, these are only voluntary as the whole survey is, but it would be useful information to have.
Once again, thank you for your contribution; I hope that my dissertation could make your air travel better in the future. If you have any questions at any time, please e-mail me at: accesstoairtravel@gmail.com
